Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g fish fillet(s), firm
  • ½ lemon(s), juice and zest
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 can of tomatoes
  • 25 g flour
  • 125 ml cream, sweet
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • Cheese, grated
  • Butter, for greasing
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Clean the fish, cut into bite-sized pieces, drizzle with lemon juice, and season with salt. Clean the bell pepper, cut into strips, and place it in a lightly greased baking dish along with the fish. Chop the drained tomatoes and mix with the diced onion, crushed garlic, a little grated lemon zest, paprika powder, thyme, and salt. Combine the cream and flour and stir into the tomato mixture. Pour the sauce over the fish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs and cheese (amount and type to your liking). Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 20 to 25 minutes.
