Fish: Salmon and Horseradish Quark …
The perfect fish: salmon and horseradish quark … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Lowfat quark
- 100 ml Natural carbonated mineral water
- 1 medium sized Fresh shallot
- 2 tsp Horseradish from the jar
- 6 piece Smoked salmon slices
- 0,5 size Fresh cucumber
- 1 Msp Salt
- 1 tsp 8-Kräuter-Mischung tiefgefroren
- 1 pinch White milled pepper
- 1 pinch Sugar
- 0,5 tsp Chopped parsley
- First, stir the low-fat quark with the mineral water until smooth and season it with salt and pepper.
- Then you peel the shallot and cut it into very small cubes. Add the cubes to the quark and stir in the horseradish.
- Taste the quark again.
But beware !
- Since the smoked salmon is salty, the horseradish curd shouldn’t be too salty.
- Now wash and peel the green cucumber. You can cut the cucumber into slices or sticks. Personally, I like to rasp these and I did that this time too. Season the cucumber slices, sticks or grated cucumber with salt, sugar and pepper.
- Arrange the horseradish quark on two plates. Place the salmon next to the quark in small rolls on the quark. The grated cucumber on top of the curd.
- Sprinkle the shredded cucumber with a little chopped parsley before serving.
Side dish tip:
- My husband and I like to have jacket potatoes with it. But you can also serve boiled potatoes or just bread. ENJOY YOUR MEAL !
