Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 750 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 packet of yeast (dry yeast)
- 2 tsp, leveled salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 150 g natural yogurt
- 150 ml milk, lukewarm
- 150 ml water, lukewarm
- 75 ml oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp butter, melted or condensed milk
- Sesame seeds for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes
Mix the flour, baking powder, and dried yeast in a mixing bowl. Add all the other dough ingredients and mix using the dough hook of a hand mixer or knead by hand for 3-5 minutes. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 1/2 hours, until it has visibly increased in size. Knead the dough again well on a floured surface and divide it into three portions. Roll each out to a thickness of 2 centimeters to form flatbreads. Place the flatbreads on baking sheets lined with baking paper, brush with melted butter or condensed milk, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cover again and let it rise in a warm place until it has visibly increased in size. Bake each loaf for 25 minutes at about 200°C top/bottom heat (fan oven: about 180°C, gas mark 3-4). Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack.
