Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 flatbread(s), approx. 30 cm diameter
  • 500 g cherry tomatoes
  • 2 bunch spring onions
  • 3 packs of mozzarella
  • 1 small can of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 pack of salami, sliced
  • 1 pack of cooked ham, sliced
  • 400 g cheese, grated
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • some garlic, preferably roasted from the can
  • Herbs of Provence

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the flatbread lengthwise and place it on an oven rack. Do not place it on a baking sheet or on parchment paper. The bottom of the flatbread will become soggy. Sprinkle the bread halves with the herbs de Provence and garlic. Then drizzle with olive oil. Cut the cherry tomatoes into three or four slices and top the flatbreads with them. It is important that the ends are placed on the flatbreads with the skin facing down. Now lightly season everything with salt and pepper. Slice the spring onions into thin rings and distribute them evenly on the flatbreads. Slice the mozzarella and also place this on the flatbreads. Lightly season with salt and pepper again. Then distribute the mushrooms evenly. Now cut three slices of salami and three slices of cooked ham into small pieces for each flatbread half and distribute them. Sprinkle with a little more garlic, if desired. Finally, spread the pizza cheese on the flatbreads. Bake the flatbread pizza in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 20 to 25 minutes. The cheese should be golden brown and the flatbread should be lightly toasted.
