Flatbread pizza with Serrano ham

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 garlic clove(s), squeezed
  • 1 ½ tsp oregano, dried
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 400 g tomatoes
  • 1 ball of mozzarella, 125 g
  • 1 small flatbread(s), round
  • 1 bunch arugula, 40 g
  • 50 g hard cheese, Italian
  • 6 slice(s) Serrano ham, thin slices
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Mix 1 crushed garlic clove with 1 1/2 tsp dried oregano and 5 tbsp olive oil. Remove the stems from 400g tomatoes. Slice the tomatoes. Halve 1 ball of mozzarella and cut into thin slices. Cut 1 small round flatbread (approx. 20cm in diameter) in half horizontally. Place the halves cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Drizzle the bread with half of the seasoning oil. Top with tomato slices and mozzarella and drizzle with the remaining oil. Bake in the center of the oven at 220°C (top/bottom heat: 200°C) for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, trim and wash 1 bunch of arugula and spin dry. Finely slice 50g Italian hard cheese using a vegetable peeler. Season the flatbread pizza with salt and pepper. Serve sprinkled with arugula, Serrano ham and cheese.
