Flatbread with Öhmchen’s Tomato Butter

The perfect flatbread with öhmchen’s tomato butter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Pc. Flatbread
  • 250 g Butter, tempered
  • 5 g Salt
  • 2 g Pepper
  • 100 g Tomato pulp
  • 2 Pc. Garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch Basil
  1. Season the butter with salt and pepper and beat in a bowl with a hand mixer until frothy.
  2. Mix with tomato paste, chopped garlic and chopped basil and roll in fresh and aluminum foil. Tip: Can be frozen very well and is quickly spreadable by whipping.
  3. Cut the flatbread into even pieces and toast until golden brown with the dome open. Let cool down briefly and brush with plenty of tomato butter.
