Flatbread with minced meat, baked in the oven

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 vegetable onion(s)
  • 1 gr. can/n tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 flatbreads
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 200g mozzarella
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Spice mix, Turkish (Pul Biber)
  • marjoram

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Dice the onion and sauté in olive oil. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly, season with salt and pepper. Finely chop the garlic and add it. Add the chopped tomatoes and season everything with marjoram and pul biber. Let the whole thing simmer until the liquid has almost evaporated, then season to taste. Cut open the flatbreads and spread the minced meat mixture on the bottoms. Slice the mozzarella and spread it on the minced meat mixture, also slice the tomatoes and spread it on the cheese. Place the lids on and press down. Bake in a preheated oven (200°C top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes.
