Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter, room temperature
- 1 pinch of herbal salt
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 1 sprig of thyme
- 1 sprig tarragon
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Slowly melt the butter in a saucepan. Add a pinch of herb salt. Peel and slice the garlic. Add the garlic and herbs to the butter. Simmer the butter over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes, until the whey has separated and the butter turns golden brown. But be careful: it can get too brown very quickly! Pour the butter into a sieve and place a small bowl underneath. Place the butter in the refrigerator to solidify. You can now take a little bit and use it wherever you need some clarified butter for frying. Very tasty with fried potatoes.
