Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 g flaxseed, unground
  • 15 g cornstarch
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 250 ml water, approx.

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Whisk the ingredients together until dry and pour over about 250 ml of boiling water. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Gradually pour the mixture in portions onto a silicone baking mat or baking paper. Spread it flat, cover with cling film, and then roll it out as thinly as possible with a rolling pin. Place the baking mat or paper onto a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40 minutes. Tip: I recommend sour cream with a little coarse sea salt as a dip. However, this will no longer make the chips vegan.
