Ingredients for 50 servings:

  • 250 g oat flakes (available from Kölln’s, for example)
  • 200 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 250 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar (or 20 g sugar mixed with Bourbon vanilla)
  • 50 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

makes about 50 cookies

Heat butter in a large saucepan until very hot. Add the flaked macarons and oats and mix well. Allow the mixture to cool completely. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Add the cooled mixture. Place in small “flatbreads” on a baking tray. Bake at 200°C (convection oven) on the middle rack for about 10-12 minutes, until the macarons are golden yellow. Enjoy!
