Floo's Apple Cake (with grated apples)

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 120 g butter/margarine
  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 apples, washed & grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • 80 g butter/margarine
  • 2 lemons (the juice!)
  • 1 pack of vanilla sauce powder (for cooking)
  • 1 cup of cream, if desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

26cm springform pan

Dough: Knead all dough ingredients thoroughly and chill for about 30 minutes. Then line a greased 26cm springform pan with the dough and press up a rim of about 2cm. Bake at 200°C (top and bottom heat) for about 20 minutes. Combine the grated apples, eggs, sugar, butter, lemon juice, and gravy powder in a saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring. Pour the filling onto the base and let it cool completely. Once the cake is completely cool, serve with whipped cream. Delicious & fresh!
