Flourless chocolate nut cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g chocolate (milk chocolate)
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 6 m.-sized eggs
  • 200 g margarine or butter
  • 400 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Preheat oven to 175°C (top/bottom heat) and use the resulting heat to melt the chocolate on a heatproof plate. Stir together the sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, and butter until the sugar is completely dissolved. Mix the ground hazelnuts and baking powder into the batter. Add the melted chocolate and pour the (fairly soft) mixture into a bundt pan. Bake at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for one hour. After about 20 minutes, place a piece of aluminum foil over the top to prevent it from darkening.
