Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g margarine
  • 180 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup eggnog (small cup)
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g chocolate shavings (chocolate flakes)
  • e.g. cake icing (chocolate) or powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whisk together the margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs. Add the egg liqueur, baking powder, and flour. Mix with a mixer. Add the chocolate flakes and fold in lightly. Fill the mixture into the prepared muffin tin or paper baking cups. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes. If desired, you can top the muffins with chocolate glaze or powdered sugar. This recipe yields approximately 18 muffins.
