Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g whole wheat flour
  • 21 g fresh yeast or 1 packet of dry yeast
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 30 g sugar
  • 130 ml milk and water, half each, lukewarm
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Mix together the flour, salt, and sugar. Dissolve the yeast in the milk and water mixture while stirring, then add it to the mixture. Then add the oil and egg, knead everything thoroughly, and let it rise in a warm place for 30-45 minutes. Knead the dough again. Line a small bread pan with baking paper, pour in the dough, and let it rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (convection oven) and bake the yeast dough for about 20-30 minutes (pierce it frequently with a wooden skewer to check that the dough is firm). If the bread is already too brown, cover with aluminum foil. Let it cool completely and enjoy it for breakfast, for example!
