Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 2 large onions
- 750 g minced meat, half and half
- 1 large can of sliced mushrooms, with juice
- 3 bell peppers, colored, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ bottle of curry ketchup
- 1 gr. can/n peach(s) in pieces, with juice
- 1 large can of tomatoes, peeled
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
- Tabasco
- curry
- possibly sauce thickener
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Peel the onions, halve them, and slice them into rings. Brown them with the minced meat in a little oil in a pan. Add the bell peppers, mushrooms (with their juices), peaches (with their juices), and peeled tomatoes. Add 1 liter of water and the ketchup, and season to taste. The soup should have a sweet and sour taste. If the soup is too thin, you can add more sauce thickener to taste until the desired consistency is reached.
