Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 roll(s) HENGLEIN Fresh Puff Pastry
- 2 tbsp margarine, vegan, e.g. B. Alsan
- 2 m.-sized apples (Braeburn, Elstar…)
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 5 tbsp sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Vegan puff pastry refined with cinnamon and apple.
1. Peel and core the apple, and coarsely grate it using a grater. Unwrap the puff pastry, spread it with Alsan margarine, spread the grated apple on top, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. 2. Roll up vertically. Cut into 6 equal pieces. Using a wooden spoon (or similar), press the center of each piece into the center to give the ends the typical Franzbrötchen shape. 3. Place on a baking sheet with the baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
