Freeze baby food
- If you have already warmed up the baby food, you should wait until it has cooled down to at least room temperature.
- Freshly bought baby food can often be kept for a long time in a sealed jar, which is why you do not necessarily have to freeze it.
- To freeze baby food, you should use a sealable container that is suitable for freezing and, above all, clean.
- Baby food can be stored in it for two to three months at around -18 degrees. Vegetable or fruit puree can even be preserved for up to six months.
- Make sure that the container is sealed airtight. This is the only way to get optimal durability.
- You can defrost the baby food in a water bath.
- Tip: Label the jar with the contents and the date of freezing. So you always know when you have frozen something.
