Cut 2 slices of toast into pieces. In a mug, whisk 1 egg and 80g milk (or cream if desired). Whisk the bread slices in the mug with the liquid. Heat the mug in the microwave for about 2.5 minutes at 600 watts. The baking time may vary depending on the microwave. Simply test with a small fork and then decide if you want the French toast a little firmer. It’s not sweetened yet. If you don’t like it sweet, sprinkle with salt. French toast is versatile. I recommend the following sweet variations: cinnamon and sugar, maple syrup, honey, rosehip jam. 300 kcal per serving.
