French Toast with Banana

The perfect french toast with banana recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Caramelized bananas

  • 0,5 Cup Butter
  • 0,75 Cup Sugar brown
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla pod scraped out
  • 5 Pc. Bananas

French toast

  • 8 Pc. Eggs
  • 0,75 Cup Sugar brown
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 0,25 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla pod scraped out
  • 1 Cup Cream
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Pc. Baguette
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Melt the butter in a pan. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla and stir well. Let the sugar caramelize lightly.
  2. Cut the bananas into slices and turn the slices in the caramel.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, heavy cream and milk.
  4. Cut the baguette into small cubes and add to the egg-cream mixture. Mix well and let it steep.
  5. Put the baguette mixture in a baking dish and spread the caramel bananas on top.
  6. Bake at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Finally, decorate with a little powdered sugar.
