Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 eggs
- 170 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 130 g oil, e.g. rapeseed oil
- 150 g natural yogurt, 3.5% fat
- 280 g wheat flour or spelt flour, type 630
- 1 packet of baking powder
- ¼ bottle of rum flavoring
- 3 tbsp cocoa, slightly heaped
- 1 tbsp rum
- 1 tbsp sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
for a loaf pan, also suitable for spelt flour
Whisk the eggs and sugar, then add the oil, yogurt, and vanilla sugar and continue whisking. Mix the flour with the baking powder, sift it on top, and whisk everything thoroughly until smooth. Line a loaf pan with baking paper or butter it thoroughly and dust with flour. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan. Add the cocoa, rum, rum flavoring, and sugar to the remaining half and whisk everything until smooth. Then spread evenly over the light batter. The dark batter will automatically sink to the bottom during baking. Bake at 170–175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 55 minutes on the second rack from the bottom.
