Fresh peas and carrots

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 handfuls of peas (frozen)
  • 4 m.-sized carrot(s), peeled, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 shot of water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Pepper from the mill
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped (also frozen)
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Sauté the carrots and peas in melted butter, then season with salt and sugar. Deglaze with a splash of water and simmer with the lid on for about 5-10 minutes. When the carrots are still firm to the bite, the vegetables are ready. Finally, season with salt and pepper and stir in the parsley.
