Ingredients for 30 servings:
- 300 g cheese (Gouda)
- 125 g bacon (breakfast bacon), thinly sliced
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup(s) breadcrumbs
- Oil for the deep fryer
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cut the cheese into 2×2 cm cubes. Wrap each cheese cube in a slice of bacon. Then dip in the beaten egg and coat in breadcrumbs. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 180 degrees Celsius and fry the cheese cubes for 4-6 minutes until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.
