Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 large onion(s)
- 4 eggs
- 1 tbsp butter
- some salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Peel the onion and halve it so that you can cut sturdy rings about 1 cm thick from the center. Carefully place the four largest rings in the pan with the butter and crack an egg into each ring. Fry the eggs and season with salt and pepper. They look great for breakfast or as a side dish.
