Fried eggs topped with cheese

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 10 g butter
  • 50 g Cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices of toast

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius and set to broil. Melt 10 grams of butter in a pan and add 2 eggs for fried eggs. Fry until the eggs are just barely cooked, then transfer to a heatproof plate. Cover with cheese shavings or thin slices of cheese and broil for 2 minutes. Add salt to taste; you can use cheese other than cheddar, depending on your taste. Be careful not to overcook the cheese. Serve with toasted bread.
