Fried feta cheese balls

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ bell pepper(s)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 3 tbsp, sifted breadcrumbs
  • pepper
  • Garlic salt, OR:
  • 1 garlic clove(s), squeezed
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Dice the bell pepper and onion and mash the feta cheese with your hands. Mix with the egg and breadcrumbs and season with pepper and garlic salt, or fresh garlic. Then form into balls and fry until lightly browned. If you don’t have a deep fryer, simply add oil to a small pot. Delicious with salad, flatbread, tzatziki, etc.
