Fried gnocchi – perfect as a barbecue side dish

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bag of gnocchi
  • 1 ball(s) of mini mozzarella
  • some cherry tomatoes
  • some basil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • some salt and pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Melt some olive oil or butter in a pan. Now fry the gnocchi. When they’re lightly browned, add 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped or crushed (if you like garlic, you can use more). Season with salt and pepper. Then add the cherry tomatoes and the mozzarella balls. Continue frying briefly until the mozzarella begins to melt. Sprinkle with some basil. Perfect with grilled food or simply with bread for a delicious steak.
