Fried gnocchi with bacon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g gnocchi, from the refrigerated section
  • 300 g chard
  • 75g bacon
  • 2 spring onions
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 300 g whipped cream
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cut the bacon into wide strips, fry in oil in a large, deep pan until crispy, and remove from the pan. Fry the gnocchi in the frying fat for about 3 minutes and also remove from the pan. Clean, wash, and cut the chard into pieces. Clean, wash, and slice the spring onions. Wash and halve the tomatoes. Peel the carrots and cut into strips or grate them. Fry all the vegetables in the frying fat for about 8 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Pour in the cream and bring to a boil. Fold in the gnocchi and bacon and heat briefly with the creamed vegetables. Wash, dry, and chop the parsley, add to the pan, and stir in. Season again with salt and pepper, if desired.
