Fried mozzarella with baked beans and buttered toast

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • some butter
  • 1 can of baked beans
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 slice(s) white toast

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cut the mozzarella into slices. Toss in the breadcrumbs to coat all sides. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the breaded mozzarella slices until crispy on both sides. The mozzarella should melt well before turning. Melt plenty of butter in another pan. Cut the slices of toast in half to form triangles. Toss the triangles in the butter to absorb the butter. Then crisp the toast on both sides. Meanwhile, heat the baked beans in a pan. Spoon a little of everything onto a plate and serve. This meal is very filling. I was inspired by the English Breakfast, so a light green salad on the side livens it up.
