Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 375 g mie noodles or other ribbon noodles
  • 500 g soy sprouts, fresh
  • 375 g minced meat
  • Chinese spice
  • Ketjap Manis
  • Oil, tasteless
  • Sambal Oelek

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Bye-Khau-mien-Hoa

Cook the noodles in salted water until al dente, drain, and rinse thoroughly. Fry the minced meat in a little oil until crumbly. Add the washed soybean sprouts and season with Chinese spices, ketjap manis, and sambal oelek. Remove from the wok and keep warm. Add a little oil to the wok and fry the noodles with a dash of soy sauce. In a preheated bowl, add a layer of noodles, then a layer of the minced meat mixture. Alternate this layer with the minced meat mixture. Finally, bake in the oven at 50°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes.
