Fried parsley

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 bunch parsley (curly parsley)
  • Fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Wash the parsley, shake it dry, and place the bunch in hot oil for about 2 minutes. Caution! It splashes terribly, so it’s best to fry it in a deep fryer. The parsley should be very crispy. Remove it with a slotted spoon and let it dry on a paper towel. Serve hot, as a layer of fat forms when cold, which loses its flavor. We eat the fried parsley with a hot stone or sometimes with steak.
