very tasty on fresh buttered bread

Wash the zucchini and cut into slices about 1 cm thick. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the zucchini slices over medium heat. After turning (the slices shouldn’t turn black, but they can take on some color), season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with a little garlic, and sprinkle with plenty of grated cheese. Brown the other side nicely as well. We think the zucchini slices (we usually make them without garlic) are delicious on freshly buttered bread.
