Fried Zucchini

The perfect fried zucchini recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Large zucchini approx. 1.4 kg (here: from our own garden!)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 4 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 4 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
  • 100 g Flour
  • 100 g Breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups Peanut oil
  1. Wash the zucchini, pat dry with kitchen paper, cut into slices (approx. 1 – 1.5 cm thick), cut out the meat with the kernels with a glass, peel the rings with a peeler and cut in half. Beat the eggs and whisk with milk (2 tbsp), coarse sea salt from the mill (4 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (4 big pinches). Turn the halved zucchini rings in flour, knock off the flour a little, pull through the egg mixture, turn in the breadcrumbs and fry / fry in a pan with peanut oil (1 – 2 cups) on both sides until golden-brown. Degrease on kitchen paper and keep warm in the oven at 50 ° C until serving.
