Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 5 sausages (Frikandel, Dutch meat rolls, frozen)
- 2 onions
- 2 packs of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
- some mayonnaise
- some curry ketchup or tomato ketchup

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onions. Fry the Frikandel in a deep fryer or pan until cooked through. Cut the puff pastry into equal-sized pieces so that the Frikandel can be rolled up later. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). After frying or roasting, grease the Frikandel with a kitchen towel and place it on the puff pastry. Sprinkle some of the chopped onions next to the Frikandel, then top with a little ketchup and mayonnaise. Roll it up and place it in the oven until the rolls are nicely browned. The rolls are filling enough on their own, but if you like, you can serve them with fries and/or a green salad.
