Make a meatball dough from the ingredients. Grate or tear the bread roll into small pieces, or soak it briefly in milk or water. Knead everything thoroughly and then form meatballs. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or in a roasting pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (convection oven) for about 30 minutes. Turn halfway through. The amount of salt and pepper can, of course, be varied.
