Frisian Cheesecake

The perfect frisian cheesecake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 350 g Sugar
  • 1 Vanilla sugar packet
  • 1 Lemon untreated, juice and grated. peel
  • 1 tbsp Rum
  • 1 kg Quark semi-fat
  • 1 Vanilla pudding packet
  • 4 tbsp Semolina
  • 1 A pAck of bAking powder
  • Magarine for greasing
  • Icing sugar for dusting
  1. Beat the butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy.
  1. Add lemon juice, lemon zest and rum.
  1. Add the quark with the pudding powder and stir well.
  1. Add semolina with baking powder and stir well.
  1. Grease the springform pan (28cm) well and pour in the quark mixture.
  1. Bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C. for about 60-70 minutes on the middle rack.
  1. Dust the cake with icing sugar and serve while it is still warm.
