Frisian Napoleon
The perfect frisian napoleon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Dough:
- 1 a cup Sour cream 10% fat
- 200 g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 200 g Margarine
- 1 packet Deer horn salt (15 g.)
- 1 pinch Salt
- 600 g Flour
Cream:
- 1 liter Milk
- 125 g Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 200 g Sugar
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 2 packet Vanillin sugar
Preparation for the dough:
- Mix the egg with the sugar. Make a dough with the remaining ingredients. For a cake, roll out 5-6 bases approx. 2 mm thick and bake brown at 200 ° C top / bottom heat and allow to cool.
Preparation for the cream:
- Add the butter to the milk and bring to the boil. Mix the eggs with the sugar, add the flour, vanilla sugar and 3 tablespoons of the milk and stir well. Pour this mixture into the milk and bring to the boil briefly. Brush each of the cooled bases with the cream and place on top of each other. Crumble a base and sprinkle it over the cake. Let it steep overnight.
