Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g butter
  • 300 g sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 150 g moist raisins
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 100 g ground almonds
  • 150 g hazelnuts, ground, roasted without fat
  • 6 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • possibly powdered sugar
  • possibly cake icing (chocolate)
  • Fat and breadcrumbs for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

For the basic recipe, beat eggs, butter, and sugar until fluffy. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir into the egg mixture. Add the flavorings. Pour into a greased Bundt pan dusted with breadcrumbs and bake at 180-200°C for 60 minutes. Marble cake: Mix cocoa and milk into half of the basic recipe. Pour the light batter into the pan, then pour the dark batter on top and bake. Raisin cake: Mix the moist raisins with the flour, mix into the basic recipe, pour into the pan and bake. Macaroon cake: Beat the egg whites until stiff, stir in the sugar, and fold in the almonds. Pour the basic recipe into the pan, spread the macaroon mixture on top, mix with a fork in a circular motion, and bake. Hazelnut cake: Mix the cooled roasted hazelnuts into the basic recipe, pour into the pan and bake. Cocoa cake: Mix the cocoa and milk into the basic recipe, pour into the pan and bake. After cooling, cover the cake with chocolate icing, dust with powdered sugar or simply enjoy it on its own.
