Frozen banana, the healthiest banana ice cream for all ages
Cut the banana into approximately 4 equal-sized pieces and insert a toothpick into each piece, or insert a skewer lengthwise into the whole banana. If the “banana ice cream” is intended for children, it’s best to break off the sharp ends of the toothpicks. Now place the banana skewers on a plate lined with plastic wrap and cover them with another piece of plastic wrap. Let the whole thing freeze for about 3 hours and then enjoy like a popsicle. The “frozen banana” is wonderfully sweet and creamy and also a very healthy, low-calorie, and low-fat alternative to traditional ice cream. Optionally, the banana can be topped with a chocolate topping before eating. To do this, melt the dark chocolate coating in a water bath and briefly dip or drizzle the frozen banana pieces with it.
