Lemony applesauce from the microwave

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 apples (peeled and quartered approx. 200 g)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon(s) or lime juice
  • 4 tbsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 12 minutes

Combine apples, lemon juice, vanilla sugar, and water in a microwave-safe container and cook at 600 watts for 6-7 minutes. Stir the puree once during cooking. We enjoy it lukewarm.
