Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g quark
  • 200 g sugar
  • 125 ml milk, more if needed
  • 4 tbsp jam of your choice
  • 2 tbsp sauce (vanilla sauce)
  • 150 g fruit of your choice (e.g. raspberries or strawberries)
  • 1 pkt. ladyfingers or American cookies
  • chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

with American cookies or ladyfingers

Mix the quark with milk, sugar, jam, and vanilla sauce until the mixture is nice and creamy. Season with sugar and, if the cream is too thick, stir in more milk. Pour a thin layer (approx. 5 mm) of the quark cream into a baking dish. Spread a layer of sponge fingers or cookies on top and add fruit in the spaces between. Spread another layer of quark cream on top. Repeat this process until all the quark is used up. Finish with quark cream and sprinkle this final layer with chocolate sprinkles. Chill for approx. 1 1/2 hours before serving.
