Fruit Punch Cake
The perfect fruit punch cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Soft butter
- 1 tsp Butter for the mold
- 180 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 250 g Flour
- 4 piece Eggs
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 150 g Grated chocolate
- 200 g Powdered sugar
- 230 ml Fruit punch
- 1,5 tsp Cake decoration (pearls, star sprinkles
- 30 g Cocoa powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- Gugelhupf form (22cm in diameter with the butter (1 teaspoon butter. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees).
- Mix the butter with the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt until frothy. Mix the flour with baking powder and cocoa powder in a bowl, grate the chocolate finely, stir in alternately 200 ml of fruit punch and the flour mixture. Fold in the chocolate shavings. Pour the dough into the mold and smooth out. Bake the cake in the oven for about 45 minutes and allow to cool.
- Turn the Gugelhupf onto a wire rack or board. Mix the powdered sugar with the rest of the fruit punch 3 tablespoons until smooth and pour over the cake. Sprinkle cake decoration on the icing. Cut the fruit punch cake into pieces and enjoy the beautiful Advent season.
