Fruity Apricot Confectionery Balls

The perfect fruity apricot confectionery balls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Lime sugar

  • 30 ml Orange cello
  • 60 g Apricot jam
  • 2 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 60 g Butter
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 60 g Waffles
  • 60 g Marzipan
  • 40 g Sugar brown
  • 2 Tablespoon approx. Lime juice

Prepare the apricot mixture

  1. Cut the dried apricots into small cubes – marinate with the orange cello for a few hours – then mix the marinated apricots with the apricot jam and add the lime juice – stir butter and sugar until foamy and mix with the apricot mixture – grind the waffles into fine crumbs and also add (tip: you could also use dry leftover cake or biscuit leftovers to make fine crumbs) – mix everything well and refrigerate for several hours

In the meantime, prepare the lime sugar

  1. Spread the brown sugar on a flat plate – squeeze the lime and pour the juice through a fine sieve into a spray bottle – spray the sugar with it – dry gently for several hours in a warm oven at a maximum of 40 degrees – the finished, dried sugar in the Grind the Moulinex finely

Finish the apricot mixture

  1. Cut the marzipan into very small cubes (tip: it is easier to cut if chilled!) – Add the marzipan cubes to the apricot mixture and knead everything well – form small balls out of the mixture and roll them in the lime sugar
