Fruity mandarin cream

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 3 sheets of gelatin
  • Water
  • 2 cans of tangerine(s)
  • 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 250 g natural yogurt (1.5% fat)
  • 1 pack flavoring (orange peel

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 25 minutes

Soak the gelatin in water according to the package instructions. Drain the mandarins and reserve the juice. Mix the quark and yogurt with 8 tablespoons of juice and the orange zest (you can also use freshly grated orange zest if you like). Squeeze out the gelatin, dissolve it in a saucepan over low heat, and stir it into the quark cream. Fold in the fruit, pour into serving bowls, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
