Funny party mushrooms

Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 8 eggs
  • 8 tomatoes
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • Lettuce, some leaves as decoration
  • Parsley as decoration
  • n. B. spice(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Consisting of eggs and tomatoes

First, boil the eggs and then peel them. Let them cool thoroughly. Now, cut off the top and bottom edges so the egg can stand upright. Next, wash and halve the tomatoes. Score small holes in the shell. Once all that’s ready, add the mayonnaise—you can either make it yourself or buy it. Season to taste. Now you need a large plate or serving platter. Cover it with lettuce leaves and parsley so it looks like grass. Then place the eggs on top. Fill the scored tomato shells with mayonnaise (a teaspoon handle works best for this). Now just place the “tomato mushroom heads” on their “egg stems,” and the tomato mushroom is ready. It’s not just a hit at children’s birthday parties—it’s also a hit with adults.
