Baking bread in a Tupperware Ultra
I got this recipe from my neighbor Gaby, to whom I sincerely thank. Grease the Tupperware Ultra pot well – I use the large pot. DO NOT preheat the oven! Weigh all ingredients (without water) and mix thoroughly. Then slowly add the lukewarm water and knead briefly with the mixer (dough hook) – for 5 minutes. The mixture should have the consistency of tough waffle batter. Pour the mixture into the Ultra and place the pan in a cold oven. Place a container of hot water on the floor of the oven. Bake at 200°C (top and bottom heat) for about 1.5 hours. I have a special top and bottom heat setting on my oven that keeps the moisture in the oven. If you don’t have one, please place a large container of hot water in the oven. Note: the more wholemeal flour the mixture contains, the more water is needed, so please do not add the entire liter at once. You can also bake it without the grain mix, with chopped walnuts, etc. Here you can let your imagination run wild.
