Garden-loving quick apple dessert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 5 m.-sized apples
  • 3 tbsp raisins
  • 3 tbsp almond slivers
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 200 ml whipped cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Whip the cream until stiff, adding cream stiffener if desired, and refrigerate. Wash the apples thoroughly, pat dry, peel, and cut into small pieces. Melt the butter in a pan, add the apples, and fry on all sides for about five minutes, turning occasionally. Add the raisins and fry for a while, then add the slivered almonds and toast briefly, turning occasionally. Sprinkle with the cinnamon and stir. Sprinkle in the sugar evenly and caramelize briefly. Serve immediately from the pan on plates and drizzle with the cream. A quick alternative to baked apples, and the apples still have a pleasant crunch. Tip: The mixture can also be folded into yogurt – it then tastes like baked apple yogurt. You can either omit the cream or fold it in as well.
