Garlic baguette with chicken and cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 baguette(s)
  • 1 chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 2 ½ tbsp butter
  • 2 large garlic cloves
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 2 tsp Parmesan, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Cut the chicken breast into slices and marinate in a bowl with oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Then fry the chicken breast pieces for two minutes on each side. Make sure the meat is thoroughly cooked. Cut the baguette into four equal pieces and hollow them out. Place one or two pieces of chicken on the end of each cheese slice and wrap them in the cheese. Fill the baguette with these rolls. Place the filled baguette on aluminum foil on a baking sheet. To make the garlic butter, simply mix melted butter with freshly pressed garlic, finely chopped parsley, and Parmesan cheese. Drizzle the garlic butter over the baguette pieces and wrap them in aluminum foil. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes, then enjoy lukewarm.
