Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes, floury
- 120 g butter
- 120 ml milk
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- 1 sprig(s) rosemary
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
First, peel the potatoes, halve them, and steam them in a saucepan for 20-25 minutes until tender. Heat the milk and butter in a saucepan and add the spices. Cook the rosemary sprig for a while, then remove. Mash the potatoes, add the butter and milk mixture, and mash everything until fluffy. Season to taste before serving.
