Garlic – Chili – Extract

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 5 chili peppers
  • 1 bottle of dry sherry

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

A few drops of this extract add the necessary flavor to soups and stews. However, it should be used cautiously, as the flavor is very intense.

Peel and halve the garlic cloves. Remove the stems from the chili peppers and cut the skin lengthwise. Transfer everything to a clean, dry wine bottle, top up with the sherry, and cork. The bottle should be placed in a cool, dark place for several weeks to infuse. Tip: Use a clear wine bottle; it looks better.
