Garlic Prawns
The perfect garlic prawns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 220 g Party prawns (2 packs of 110 g / here: from ALDI North)
- 4 Large cloves of garlic
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Red dried chilli pepper
- 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
- 2 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
- 1 Garlic baguette
- Peel the garlic, halve and cut into thin slices. Clean / core the chilli pepper, wash and cut into small cubes. Heat olive oil (4 tbsp) in a pan and stir-fry the garlic clove slices vigorously, add the prawns and fry / stir-fry for about 3 – 4 minutes on both sides. Season with the chili peppers and coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (2 big pinches) and divide everything into 2 serving bowls. Cook the garlic baguette in the oven according to the instructions on the packet and cut into slices. Serve the garlic prawns with a garlic baguette.
Note:
- German: Prawns / French: Shrimps / Spanish: Gambas / Italian Gamberi. The usual trade name for small shrimp is shrimp and for larger king prawns.
